Bjork’s swan dress has to be one of most memorable Oscar dresses of all time. Designed by Marjan Pejoski, it was meant to be a joke and Bjork did have the last laugh.

The singer said after the ceremony in 2001: “I was actually amazed at how many people thought I was serious. I didn’t mean to cause a riot”. Bjork even dropped eggs on the red carpet at the event.

“It was really funny because the security guards would pick them up and run after me with their walkie-talkies saying: ‘Excuse me, miss, you dropped this’.”

Huh, I never noticed her shoes.
